Three’s A Charm

Uptown, Downtown, All Around—We’ve Found The Elusive Three-Bedroom

For many families, the make-or-break factor in deciding whether they will ultimately move to the suburbs or stay in the city is whether or not they can find a three-bedroom apartment that fits their lifestyle. Some believe it’s becoming harder and harder to find the perfect blend of elements, enough space and great amenities, while staying within their price range. So we went ahead and did some of the legwork for fams. Here are a few options we came up with, and there are so many more out there, if you just look.

122 East 82nd Street, Unit 5A

Upper East Side

Bright and sunny, this renovated three-bedroom has an eat-in kitchen with granite counter tops, a Dacor range, Sub-Zero fridge and wine chiller. And with a formal dining room, high, beamed ceilings, ample closets and a lovely common garden, there is certainly no shortage of space. Plus, pets are allowed.

Entertaining is easy and fun in the expansive living room and large dining room of this elegant pre-war three-bedroom apartment. High-end appliances include a vented-out Viking stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator, dishwasher and Bosch W/D. The building has a 24-hour doorman, bike storage and a pet-friendly attitude. It’s steps away from Riverside Park.
