Mommybites Offers A Free Teleclass On Breastfeeding

African American FamilyMommybites is offering a free teleclass called “Breastfeeding Basics – Everything Moms Need to Know” on July 1 from 12-1pm.

The class, which can be viewed from your computer or phone, will be taught by Vice President of Healthcare and Media Relations at Lansinoh and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) Gina Ciagne . To sign up for the class, “like” Mommybites Facebook page and register online here. Since 2006, Mommybites has been an online community that has been providing quality resources, education and support for parents.

The class is free, but it’s reserved for Mommybites’ Facebook fans only. Not a fan? No problem, just LIKE them on Facebook and then scroll down to register so you will receive the login information for this class.

During the class, which is sponsored by Lansinoh, Ciagne will walk mothers through how to prepare for breastfeeding before the baby arrives; tips to overcome some of the most common breastfeeding issues, like mastitis, engorgement and milk supply concern; preparing to return to work as a breastfeeding mom; and how your partner, and other friends and family members, can support your breastfeeding goals.
