Math Museum Opens In Flatiron District
Museum of Mathematics, a new math museum for children in NYC, opens to the public this winter.
The brand new Museum of Mathematics provides visitors with a hands-on approach to numerical fun through its creative exhibits and programs. The museum, which opened last month in the Flatiron District as the only math museum in the country, is ideal for children of all ages. To enhance mathematical understanding, the museum offers various events and programs. One of their traveling events for children, Math Midway, is a numbers carnival filled with interactive games and activities. MoMath also offers “Math Encounters,” which are public presentations by math experts and enthusiasts.
