The Jewish Community Center, better known as The JCC in Manhattan, has long been a favorite gathering place for special events and occasions. But this community also offers a ton of regular programming and services for families, including Coo & Crawl, a parent and baby playspace at their Upper West Side location.
At Coo & Crawl, parents can bring their newborns for first-time play date experiences with other newborns, all the while discussing parenting topics such as sleeping, nursing, co-parenting, and maintaining an active lifestyle with other parents and parenting experts. The play dates are led by certified lactation consultant Sara Newman, a mother of two herself, who is an experienced parent support group leader in helping parents through the early stages of parenthood.
Coo & Crawl is recommended for babies 0-12 months and their parents. Play dates are offered every Monday from 11 am until 12 pm starting March 4 through June 3.
