From
the people who brought us Lombardi comes
the story of how two intense rivals eventually become close friends. The play
follows the lives of Hall of Famers Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Larry Bird—two
seemingly different men who are both players in one of America’s most popular sports
franchises. Incorporating classic footage throughout the 90-minute performance,
audiences will come to understand how these two athletes formed a tight bond
throughout the NBA draft, playoffs and the Olympics. The perfect lesson in good
sportsmanship. Longacre Theatre, 220

Where
did Peter Pan come from and why does he refuse to grow up? Based on the popular
prequel novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson written in 2004, Peter and the Starcatcher is a spin-off of
the classic children’s story that will answer these questions and more. The New
York Theater Workshop version debuted last year and received rave reviews. We
