    Family Bird Watching Tour
    Prospect Park

    Feast your eyes on over 200 different bird species at Prospect Park. Starting at 10 a.m. your children ages 8 years and older will love the chance to use the provided binoculars to map out which chirp belongs to which bird. Watch the Green Heron and Red-tailed Hawk fly through the sky. This is a great chance for your family to take part in an outdoor adventure!

    Family Art Project: Mark Twain Garden Adventure
    Wave Hill
    10am-1pm
    Take an adventure through the gardens at Wave Hill. As you go take notes and collect items that will add to your adventure story. Admission is free, and your children will love the scavenger hunt! After the hunt is over, create a package of your trip to share with others! Admissions to grounds are free before noon

    9th Annual NYC KidsFest
    Morningside Park
    12pm-5pm
    This annual festival celebrates multi-cultural arts specifically for children and families! Kiddos will enjoy fun activities like face painting and art workshops while being entertained by live musical performances! Some notable show-stoppers include the PS 180 Xylophone Group, a rendition of “Little Red Riding Hood,” and the Double Dutch National League.

    Sweet Spot Festival: Father’s Day Jam

    Head outside for a day of free music, food, games and more at Sweet Spot Festival’s Father’s Day Jam! Bring the whole family to celebrate Father’s Day! Expect food trucks, kids’ art workshops, fitness sessions, a vintage and artisan marketplace, games and lots of great music by live performers.
