    Nothing is sweeter than an outdoor movie in the summertime! Join Hudson River Park to catch a screening of “Despicable Me 2″! All movies in the series are rated PG so they’re great for all ages! The park even provides complimentary popcorn. 
    Movies start at sundown.

    City of Water Day
    Governor’s Island and various locations
    10:30am-2:30pm
    All Ages
    In celebration of the water that surrounds us and brings us together, the City of Water Day is a day-long, free event that the whole family will enjoy. The festival will be chock full of live music, food, and activities like on-the-water labs, a children’s activities fair, free boat tours, and much more!

    60th Street between Lexington and 5th Ave.

    All Ages
    Grab les enfants and head to Bastille Day on 60th Street this Sunday! This charming event commemorates France’s own Independence Day with a taste of culture, including live music and French cuisine. Hosted by the French Institute Alliance Française, the annual street fair also offers a famous prize drawing, artisanal crafts, and the Kid’s Corner, with arts and crafts, face painting, and more! 

    Bronx Family Day: David Gonzalez’ Aesop Bops
    St. Mary’s Park
    4pm-7pm
    All Ages
    Kids and parents are invited to watch David Gonzalez’ riveting live performance of his highly praised funk music, written with kids and parents in mind. Families are also welcome to join in on music and dance workshops, and facepainting!  Presented by Disney!

    Harlem Meer Performance Festival
    Central Park

    All Ages
    Keith “The Captain” Gamble and the NU Gypsies are coming to Central Park! Join them for a day of blues, dancing, and outdoor fun! These performers know how to make you laugh, dance, and have a great time!
