The Big Umbrella Festival is the world’s first month-long festival dedicated to arts programs for children on the Autism spectrum and their families, launching during Autism Awareness Month this year. Big Umbrella’s core objective is to enrich the lives of children on the autism spectrum through inclusive art that engages, educates, and inspires. Check Lincoln Center’s website for more details. Please note: While most festival events are free, some events require the purchase of a ticket.

Kickoff the Lincoln Center’s Big Umbrella Festival with relaxed musical performances by Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, a whimsical Americana mashup, and Actionplay Chorus, a group of young performers on the autism spectrum that perform their own original music. Seating is first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive early. When the venue reaches capacity, a standby line will form outdoors.

Also, witness the world debut of GoGo Cardboard Balance Bike by I.G. Cardboard Technologies and experience the interactive booth from Korean beauty brand, Innisfree, as they feature their new biodegradable sheet masks.
