Zulily’s lifestyle editor shows how your baby can get the Prince George Look without the royal price tag

    By New York Family

Prince George is the newest fashion icon and much like his dear mum, Princess Kate, has triggered overnight sell-outs but this time it’s cute rompers, cozy sweaters and more. Amy E. Goodman–the zulily lifestyle editor, with lots of expertise on dressing everyone from babies to mommies–has some great tips below on how to get the royal baby’s look (for a great price).

Prince George is getting lots of close-ups and here’s how your kid can too, without the royal price tag.

    • zulily1Play it safe. The Royals are not going to take risks. They know what works and will stick with the tried true… think overall color schemes in white, cream, navy and light blue.

    • zulily2Keeping it kingly. Peter Pan collars and puffy sleeves will give an instant royal look.

    • zulily3School Ties. This is taking inspiration from Princess Kate’s background and how they met –at prep school. Think polo shirts, chinos, shirt dresses for girls and nautical motifs like little boats and anchors.

    • zulily4Pint size polo. No preppy look is complete without the sweater around your neck and shorts that show off those adorable chubby legs. Polo anyone?

    • zulily5Burberry chic. With a tribute to the trench coat and England’s iconic brand, trench coats are a great layered look for Spring and can double as a rain coat.  Don’t forget the striped bucket hat too, will you keep you dry and in style.
