Stories for Sandyhook: A Benefit at 92Y

By Tashween Ali

Bring back the magic of childhood with Stories for Sandyhook, a benefit hosted by the Astoria Based Theater Company. Come down to Weill Art Gallery at 92nd Street Y  for an afternoon of classic story readings, music, juggling, raffles, snowflake decorating, and baked goods. While all procceeds will go to benefit the families affected, the afternoon will be a time for children to be children, and what happened at Sandyhook Elementary will not be mentioned. You can donate school supplies and books, and items collected will be sent to the school’s new location. For more details, click here. Admissions: $5
