Seven In One Blow, or The Brave Little Kid At The Axis Theater

By Emanuelle Block

A child kills seven buzzing flies with a single swat and makes a belt emblazoned with “seven in one blow” to commemorate the event.  People mistake his belt to mean seven people—and that’s when things get complicated.  Along the way, he learns lessons about bragging, teasing, and acceptance.  In the end, the Kid ultimately discovers that a parents’ love and care has no bounds.  Axis Theater Company presents this winter children’s show adapted from a classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.  Ages 4 and up.  For a performance schedule, check out axiscompany.org
