“Patience” At Symphony Space

By Emily Murphy

Brought to you by the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, “Patience” is a performance about milkmaids, poetry, love, and in some ways, temporary insanity.

Two men (Reginald Bunthorne and Archibald Grosvenor) use aesthetic poetry to vie for attention from maidens with military boyfriends. However, a virtuous milkmaid named Patience who claims to never have been in love, lands herself smack dab between the two poets in a classic love triangle. Various start times between 2pm and 8pm. symphonyspace.org
