Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along At Washington Square Park

By Anna Boisseau

Join the Rob Sussman Brass Quartet for a night of caroling and yuletide cheer under the arch in Washington Square Park. Now in its 89th year of providing seasonal fun for the Big Apple, the Washington Square Association will be handing out complimentary song books so everyone can sing their favorite holiday tunes. Even Santa Claus himself will be there in person to lead the countdown to the lighting of the 45-foot holiday tree, which will stay illuminated from 4pm-1am that night. Can’t get enough of holiday caroling? Come back to Washington Square Park on Christmas Eve to enjoy even more seasonal revelries. Free, 6pm, washingtonsquarenyc.org
