How does a preschooler get summer-ready? Well, the best way is with a trip to the new Milk & Cookies Kids Spa & Salon.
When you walk inside, it is like a match made in heaven: little ladies and big pampering. It goes together just like milk and cookies. From the moment we walked in, they had me at vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry? I loved the fun décor, warm staff, rockin’ music, and the spectacular salon and spa offerings (think cookie crunch haircut, yummy facial, and more) in all sorts of delicious variations. And Mommy loved the all-natural polishes and products (they even work with a chemist to create an all-natural, allergen-free and safe experience).
Manis and pedis for the small set are all the rage and the fan favorites are strawberry and chocolate chip. Being an Oreo fan, I chose cookies and cream for my spa pedicure and it was as fabulous as it sounds. I had a cookies and cream scrub that was good enough to eat and then marshmallow lotion to finish. Then, I picked my polish. It was a tough choice since they had all the colors of the rainbow and amazing nail art to match, ranging from Hello Kitty to leopard print and from rainbows to cupcakes. Although I hear black and nail stickers are the most popular, I went with a trendy purple-blue (my favorite color) and added some glitter on top. My feet looked fab. And I smelled so good that Mommy said I was so delicious and tried to take a bite. Yikes! It’s a good thing they had cookies waiting for us when we were through.
Mommy didn’t think I would sit still to get my nails done but I loved it so much that I watched everything carefully and didn’t mess one nail! I had to prove that I can sit so we can come back and do it all over again. There were so many great options that I clearly need to go back and reward Mommy with the Mommy and Me package or bring my best friends and do the BFF Spa Date: Mani, pedi, facial, makeup, and create-my-own soap, complete with robes and slippers for royal fun!
After my service was complete, I was personally escorted to the milk and cookies bar to pick my homemade cookie and have my milk custom flavored. I had the banana milk. Yum! I admired the larger than life-sized cup on the wall and the big, red, striped straw stretching across the ceiling that ended with bubbles. And then I started blowing bubbles in my milk. Mommy and I giggled. This is a very special place. The yummy treats…I mean spa services… will have you glowing from head to toe. I can’t wait to become a regular!
