Color Your Own Easter Egg Cookies at Eleni’s Chelsea Market Store

An excuse to eat even more sweets this weekend: Head to Eleni’s Chelsea Market shop and decorate your own Easter egg cookies. A ticket to this event includes a dozen mouth-watering homemade cookies, edible ink markets and an hour to decorate.

Peter Rabbit Visits the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

America’s favorite bunny, Peter Rabbit, will be making an appearance at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum this weekend. Don’t miss your chance to meet the famous hare and have your picture taken with him. Other events include arts and crafts and a storytime of the classic Beatrix Potter tale.

Barnyard Easter Egg Hunt at the Queens County Farm Museum
73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Queens

Head out of the city and onto the farm. Along with egg hunts, the afternoon will also feature traditional games such as egg tossing, egg rolling and a visit from Whiskers the Bunny. While there, be sure to say hello to the other farm animals and take a hayride around the expansive yet tranquil property.

Easter Egg Hunt at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Meridian Road at Grand Central Parkway, Queens

An Easter event for all you tennis pros! The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is hosting their very own Easter egg hunt, where you can win great prizes such as free court time and a week of summer tennis camp. After the egg hunt, be sure to stick around for a mini tennis clinic.

Easter Egg Hunt at Historic Richmond Town

Not only will this historic Victorian site host a huge hunt, but young gatherers will also be able to decorate their own egg carton (remember to bring one from home!) and transform it into a festive holder that can hold up to six candy-filled eggs. Spring Eggstravaganza at the Queens Zoo

This bunny-rific festival features real Giant Flemish rabbits. Other activities include a huge Easter egg hunt (and prizes!), arts & crafts featuring spring mask-making and pictures with the two-eared cuties.

Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Festival at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden

Spend Easter Sunday outdoors. The egg hunt will begin at 1pm (first-come, first-serve). From 2pm-5pm, activities such as egg and face painting, cotton candy and a meet-and-greet with the animal of the hour—the Easter Bunny!

Easter Events at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan

Day-long activities include an Easter Paper Scavenger Hunt to hunt for eggs throughout the museum and an Easter Egg Collage where kids can decorate their eggs with funky patterned paper and glitter. This is also a chance for children to learn the story and meaning of Easter. Events will be held several times throughout the day, so be sure to check the museum’s calendar for exact times.

Easter Fun Fest at Trinity Wall Street Church

Trinity Wall Street Church is holding activities that are age-based, so no matter how young (or old!) everyone is bound to have a blast. For the young ducks ages 6 and under, a candy-filled egg hunt will be held. The older kiddos will enjoy an Easter scavenger hunt and everyone will receive a prize. Games and a bonnet-making activity will also be held. Be sure to stay for a performance from the fan-favorite Bari Koral Band.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival

What is more iconic than an Easter bonnet? Check out the famed NYC Easter Parade featuring the most outlandish costumes you’ve seen since Halloween. Even pets will be in costume! This parade features no floats, but with characters like this, none are needed. Insider info: the best view of this parade is at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral area.

Eco-Easter at Film Biz Recycling
