Originally, Karma Kids Yoga got on our radar as a great place for parents and little kids to do yoga together. But, as we’ve come to learn, they are just as impressive as an oasis for pregnant women making their way to motherhood. We asked their owner, Shari Vilchez-Blatt, to lay out their philosophy for working with pregnant women and their variety of classes and events. Who’s ready for Doula Speed Dating?

Pregnancy is a special time of change, overload of emotions, and lots of planning. We believe that having a good support system is as important as being in good physical and mental shape during this time. At Karma Kids Yoga, we strive to make your transition into motherhood as smooth as possible. That’s why we offer a range of tools that include: Prenatal Yoga, Prenatal Pilates, Prenatal/Postnatal Pilates, Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga Tune Up, Prenatal Partner Yoga and Childbirth Workshops, Lamaze Childbirth courses, Prenatal Thai Yoga Massage as well as Doula Speed Dating events, Baby-Wearing Clinics, and other support group services. Once the baby is born, we offer Mom & Baby Yoga, Dad & Baby Yoga, Baby Fingers Baby Sign Language and Free Yoga StoryTime classes.
