Cartoon Chat

Your kids almost certainly love the popular cartoon Phineas &
Ferb
. But in case you missed it, the Disney show follows the adventures of
two step-brothers as they plan elaborate projects and annoy their sister along the way–any
little kid can relate! The show even earned itself an Emmy for its engaging plots
and witty, topical humor. —

On July 9, families will get the chance to hear from
the real folks behind the cartoon at TimesTalks. From 11 am until 12:30 pm, New York Times reporter
Brooks Barnes will interview live on stage the stars of the show, actors Vincent Martella (Phineas), Dee Bradley Baker (Perry), Alyson Stoner (Isabella
Garcia-Shapiro) and Ashley Tisdale (Candace),
as well as the show’s executive producers. They’ll chat about how they make
the characters and drawings come alive for TV. Barnes will even get the
scoop on the show’s new movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd
Dimension
, coming to your tube in August!

New York Family wants to escort you and a little guest to
the TimesTalks’ discussion with Phineas & Ferb (and friends). We have two pairs of tickets to giveaway to two lucky readers! Visit our
Facebook Page and tell us why you want to win.
Deadline to enter is Friday, June 24.
