Bunny Hop

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the annual Bunny Hop, which takes place at FAO Schwarz. This year’s event was hosted by Papo d’ Anjo, UBS and the Associates Committee of The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering. The a fun-filled event enabled children to walk into this overwhelming toy store and be entertained for hours with activities like cupcake decorating with Magnolia Bakery, making candy necklaces, creating paper flowers, getting pampered at the beauty station, smiling for the camera in the photo booth—even wrapping a real snake around themselves!—and so much more. The evening also included a silent auction for parents to take part in as they sipped wine and tasted everything from sliders to dumplings to hot dogs. This year’s honorary chairman was Tina Fey, and other notable sightings included Kelly Rutherford (our December cover mom) and Shoshanna (who designs the most adorable little girls’ swimsuits). Ultimately, though, the Bunny Hop exists to raise money for research and care for the many that are and may be stricken with cancer. Hats off to the many people who made this event a success.
