The Inside Scoop On
Nursery Admissions (Downtown Edition)
As the nursery school admissions season begins, New York Family magazine and Citibabes have put together an admissions panel with a special focus on downtown. It features some the most well-regarded school directors, admissions directors, and admissions consultants in the city, including Claudine Zamor of Beginnings Nursery School; Sharon Shorofsky Mack, of the Jewish Community Project; Dana Haddad, of Claremont Prep; Ayala Marcktell, of Tribeca Community School; and Patti Wollman Summers, of Smart City Kids. Plus CZ Zuckerman of Citibabes, will talk about pre-school alternative programs.
The seminar is both a crash course and an anxiety reducer. It will provide a thorough overview of the process--from evaluating schools to preparing for interviews—while emphasizing the importance of keeping perspective and focusing on what’s good for your child and family. There will be an extensive Q & A period as well.
Details:
Wednesday, September 10, 6:30-8:30 pm, at Citibabes, at 477 Broadway, 3rd Floor (between Broome & Grand). $50 per person.
